Cal romps to record-setting 27th win in row at home
[...] Cal generally treated its record-breaking 27th consecutive home victory the same way it has handled each of the wins during the past 657 days that led up to the 81-55 pummeling of Cal Poly at Haas Pavilion.
The Bears (9-2) took sole possession of the school record for the longest home winning streak, extending their run to 27 games since March 1, 2015.

The defense-harping coach got his players to yield only 32.3 percent shooting for the game and 22 points in the first half as the Bears weathered an early threat from Cal Poly (5-6).
Cal limited them to 7-of-25 shooting from three-point range and forced more turnovers (11) than assists (three).
Sophomore forward Ivan Rabb fouled out with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting and six rebounds, and freshman point guard Charlie Moore added 12 points and five assists.
