Weddington beats Eastern Guilford 33-20 for NC 3-AA title

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — David Bayha threw three touchdown passes to help Weddington beat Eastern Guilford 33-20 on Saturday for the Class 3-AA North Carolina High School Athletic Association championship.

Bryant Barr ran for 92 yards and a touchdown to lead the Wildcats (15-1), who were making their first appearance in a state final.
