C Martin out; 49ers’ line shuffle will continue vs. Rams

Niners center Marcus Martin, a Los Angeles native who played at USC, will not play in his return to his hometown today.

Martin is out with an ankle injury he sustained in last week’s loss at Atlanta.

The 49ers will be without left tackle Joe Staley (hamstring), who will miss his third straight game, cornerback Dontae Johnson (groin) and nose guard Glenn Dorsey (knee, ribs).
