Actual theme: Didactic potential of historical dictation
O.V. Nefedova. Historical dictation as a means of diagnostics and formative assessment.
The article discusses the various goals and forms of dictation in history lessons. Historical dictation is considered here as a method and one of the possibilities for using formative assessment. This type of diagnosis in the modern educational environment is innovative, and its role is constantly increasing in the context of the introduction of a new state educational standard and a system-based approach to learning. We consider historical dictation not only as a way to control and evaluate, but also as a way to achieve subject and meta-subject results.

V.N. Zamulin. The main directions of development of the Soviet historiography of the Battle of Kursk in 1970-1980.
In the article the analysis of development trends in the historiography of the battle of Kursk from 1970 to 1980, based On a review of scientific publications and monographs, the author attempts to assess the problems and prospects of objective reflection of the events of the summer of 1943 in the Kursk arc and the outcomes of the large-scale military action included in the history of Russia as a major turning point in the great Patriotic war 194-1945 years.

I.A. Novikov. «There was no land for us beyond the Volga!»: the battle of Stalingrad in the historical memory of south Ural residents.
The article examines the contribution of the Chelyabinsk region to one of the greatest battles of world history — the Battle for Stalingrad. Examples of military formations and tank columns that participated in the battle are given. South Ural residents are characterized as heroes of the defense of the city. The assistance in the accommodation of evacuated Stalingraders in the Southern Urals and the support of the Chelyabinsk region in the restoration of the destroyed Stalingrad are analyzed. The features of memorial practices about the history of the Great Patriotic War in the rear region are revealed.

A.A. Malakhova. Creative tasks as a means of forming the values of students in grades V-IX in extracurricular activities.
This article shows the possibility of forming values among schoolchildren based on performing creative tasks. The purpose of the article is to analyze the concepts of «values», «extracurricular activities» to consider the possibility of applying creative tasks within the historical circle for grades V-IX. The scientific novelty of the article is to determine the ways of forming the values of students within the framework of the system of additional education, namely, the development of creative tasks within the historical circle.

O.A. Mikhailova. Intellectual game «Back to the USSR».
Methodological development involves solving the problems of implementing the Federal State Educational Standards, focused on the achievement by graduates of personal, subject and meta-subject educational results. The lesson is aimed at patriotic education and the formation of Russian identity, dedicated to the history of the USSR. The methodological development was prepared for the 100th anniversary of the formation of the USSR, but at the same time it has a universal character. The intellectual game can be used within the framework of the week of history or the meta-subject week in an educational organization, in classroom and extracurricular activities.
