By destroying building of Artsakh Parliament, Azerbaijan once again  shows whole world its genocidal and barbaric face - Hayaqve

ArmInfo.The Armenian people were once again convinced that Azerbaijan is absolutely not ready for a stable, sincere and durable peace with Armenia. This is stated in the statement of the Council of the Hayaqve Initiative (Armenian Referendum).

"We learned with great pain that the dictatorial regime in Baku destroyed one of the symbols of the independent statehood of Artsakh - the building of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh. The demolition of the building of the National Assembly of Artsakh, in our deep conviction, is the response of the dictatorial administration of Baku to the initiative of the Artsakh parliament of the last convocation, the purpose of which is organizing the return of Artsakh citizens to their homes under effective international guarantees. Therefore, this heinous act of vandalism is an alarm that shows Baku does not intend to tolerate the dignified entry of an Armenian into Artsakh," the statement emphasizes.

The document notes that with this step, Azerbaijan once again showed the whole world its genocidal and barbaric face. The silence of the international community in general and the inaction of the Russian peacekeeping mission in particular do not stand up to criticism.

"The policy of Baku is also the result of the anti-national and spineless position of the administration that seized power in the Republic of Armenia. All this shows that the enemy's inhumane behavior will stop only when the Armenian people deliver a united and worthy counterattack to the Baku regime, which strives for a new genocide," the initiative statement said.
