ArmInfo. "Our main goal is to return to Artsakh soil. Our main task is to preserve the spirituality and culture of Artsakh outside the territory of the republic," said Andrei Sergeenko, secretary of the Council of Russian Compatriots (CRC) of Artsakh, at the Council meeting.

The event took place on March 13 via video conference. It was also attended by compatriots living today, in addition to Armenia, in 6 countries of the world: Russia, Georgia, Transnistria, Germany, Poland and Kyrgyzstan.

"Our main task is to preserve the fundamentally significant cultural institutions of Artsakh, to consolidate Artsakh society around spiritual values, and to do this in the current conditions: outside the forcedly abandoned Artsakh.

For the entire Armenian world, for the Syurk, for the true friends and allies of the Armenian people, it is extremely important in this historical period to preserve ARTSAKH: OUTSIDE ARTSAKH.

This concerns both human potential and spiritual and cultural heritage," Sergeenko noted, adding that he means Artsakh spiritual, cultural and educational institutions, which are the main bonds in the matter of preserving the identity of Artsakh Armenians.

According to him, they, the bonds, are of key importance in the matter of strengthening Artsakh society (Artsakh), first of all, as an ethnocultural integrity.

At the same time, Sergei emphasized that the preservation of Christian spirituality and the Artsakh dialect of the Armenian language is of particular importance.

"We are talking about the ancient Christian heritage and the unique and inimitable dialect, which have a root basis and play a vital role in preserving the identity of the Artsakh people - both Armenian and Slavic.

Nowadays, it is possible to preserve Artsakh exclusively as an ethnocultural community outside its territory, although this task is extremely difficult in the current conditions. However, without this it is impossible to even think about a physical return to Artsakh land, the homeland of our ancestors.

Only a strong, consolidated Artsakh outside its historical territory (land) is capable of a full return and revival.

It is extremely important in whose hands this fateful process of preserving Artsakh beyond its borders will be, just as it is extremely important what guarantees will be provided in the future for the return of Artsakh people to their homeland - Artsakh.

And here it is important to note the importance of the efforts made by representatives of various countries of the world to support Artsakh, as an ethnocultural community, for the Artsakh people themselves," he concluded.
