Armenia`s premier wants to cut Armenia off world - opposition MP
ArmInfo. The unexpected visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to the Voskepar community of Tavush region was in the nature of a show to demonstrate how well people accept the capitulator, Garnik Danielyan of the opposition parliamentary faction Armenia told reporters on March 19.
"After receiving information about the meeting, I, being from Tavush, contacted its participants to find out the details. They filled the meeting room of the local community building with their people, including those from the Civil Contract party, without even taking representatives of the press with them ", not counting his operator, where the issue of surrendering the territories was discussed. But there were people there who, having learned about the meeting, came not to it to protest the intentions of the authorities," the oppositionist said.
Danielyan added that these people began to ask Pashinyan uncomfortable questions, including whether the prime minister participated in the liberation war, during which these lands were liberated, and whether he shed sweat and blood for them. "He wants to bring the Turks closer to the doors of local residents," the oppositionist said, adding that if these territories are surrendered, Armenia will face another disaster, since the Armenia-Georgia interstate road, the main gas pipeline supplying the republic with Russian natural fuel, and the equipped front line will be blocked. Thus, the parliamentarian continued, the rear will be open, the gates will be open to the enemy from the northeast. "There is no doubt that if Baku's demands are met, Azerbaijani special forces will immediately appear on this road, who, together with Nikol Pashinyan, will completely close all Armenia's routes to the outside world," the oppositionist emphasized, adding that in the four villages that Yerevan intends to convey to Azerbaijan, neither schools nor medical centers will be able to operate, since they will be under direct attack.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, during a conversation with residents of border villages, said that if Yerevan does not comply with Baku's demands to transfer a number of border villages to Azerbaijan, then a war will begin. And in case of war, Turkiye will support Azerbaijan.
