Russian foreign office spokesperson comments on Armenian premier`s statement
ArmInfo. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on yesterday's statements by the Prime Minister of Armenia made at a meeting with residents of Tavush.
"Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, at a meeting with residents of the Tavush region, said that if Yerevan does not compromise with Baku on the issue of border villages, then a war could start at the end of the week.
What lengths have the new curators from the European Union, NATO and Washington brought things to? Please note: this statement is in no way connected with Russia. This is the exclusive competence of the current authorities in Yerevan and the result of their consultations with Westerners," Zakharova wrote.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, during a conversation with residents of border villages, said that if Yerevan does not comply with Baku's demands to transfer a number of border villages to Azerbaijan, then a war will begin. And in case of war, Turkiye will support Azerbaijan.
