Raw sewage pumped into England's largest lake due to fault

The documents from United Utilities, the group that manages the waste water network in northwest England, revealed that a telecoms fault on February 28 caused the main pumps to stop. As a result, raw sewage was pumped intermittently over 10 hours into the famous lake, which is located in the Lake District national park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. South Africa: inquest into death of Luthuli reopened

South Africa is going to reopen inquests into the deaths of a trio of prominent anti apartheid activists. New information led the National prosecuting Authourity to recommend the move. Amongst the three is the first Nobel Peace Prize winner and former president general of the ANC, Chief Albert Luthuli.
