Yaw Buaben Asamoa, a leading member of Alan Kyerematen rsquo;s independent presidential campaign, says he has become more handsome since leaving the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP). Buaben Asamoa was one of four prominent NPP members whose membership was revoked by the party November last year for publicly endorsing a presidential aspirant other than the elected NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Cecilia Dapaah stolen cash: High Court adjourns case to March 8

An Accra High Court has adjourned to March 8 the case of seven persons being held over loss of various sums of money belonging to Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, a former Sanitation and Water Resources Minister, at her residence in Accra.

Kwahu clash: Schools to resume by Wednesday – Seth Acheampong

The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong, has expressed optimism that schools in Kwahu Bepong will reopen by Wednesday. The closure of schools in Kwahu Bepong was ordered by the Kwahu South Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) in response to a shooting incident on Sunday, February 4.

Work progresses on Kplandey water project under FCAP

The lack of adequate sources of potable water in the Eastern Region town of Kplandey will soon be a thing of the past following the ongoing works on the provision of two mechanized boreholes under the Facilitated Collective Action Process (FCAP), a partnership between the Fanteakwa South District Assembly and Advocates for Community Alternatives (ACA), a non-profit-making organization.
