Nebraska juniors Max Anderson and Brice Matthews earned All-America recognition for the second time this week, as Perfect Game released its All-America teams on Thursday. Anderson was a second a second-team selection, while Matthews was named a third-team honoree.
Nebraska sophomore thrower Axelina Johansson was named the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year, and head track and field coach Justin St. Clair was named both the Midwest Region Men's and Women's Coach of the Year on Thursday.
The Husker softball team strengthened its roster on Thursday, June 15, when All-America pitcher Jordy Bahl announced she was transferring to Nebraska. A Papillion native, Bahl returns to her home state with two years of eligibility for a Cornhusker squad that won the 2022 Big Ten Tournament title and was an NCAA Regional Finalist in 2023.
