I got out for a Sunday sunset paddle yesterday. Nothing serious, just a short jaunt from Western beach in Chapel Arm over to the falls and back. Total was about 6 kms. I had originally planned to go to Little Ridge and back, but ultimately didn't have enough time to safely get back before dark.

The Canadian Canoe Museum celebrated their grand opening this weekend at at 2077 Ashburnham Drive in Peterborough, Ontario.
It was a beautiful day with sunny skies and plenty of wind in Mondello, Italy for the Water Festival. The event had some surprises in store with plenty of stories and upsets along the way. In the women's race, Mariecarmen Rivera dominated and led the race from the start to the finish. She made her move on the upwind leg and comfortably sustained the lead until the end.
