The 2023-24 season saw Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Men's First Team come within 90 minutes of earning promotion to the Southern League for the first time in club history as Sam Collier and his team were runners-up in the Hellenic League Premier Division Playoff final, having achieved a fourth place finish in the regular season.

The provisional constitution for the 2024-25 Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division season has been published. And an already strong division is set to get even tougher with the addition of four promoted teams. For the second season in a row a new name has been added to the RWBTFC Fantasy Football League honours board as Ben Tomes and his 'Toonali' squad claimed the 2023-24 title. Tomes became the fifth winner in the last five years as he finished on 2,559 points, 25 points clear of runner-up (and reigning champion) Joe Mitchell, who - despite a strong final week - was unable to reclaim his crown. For a third consecutive season, Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 18s finished as runners-up in the Wiltshire Senior League Floodlit Division. Although Bassett did benefit from the late withdrawal of Bristol Manor Farm – who were title favourites for most of the season, their achievement is still a significant one, with the team overcoming an indifferent start to the season before finishing strongly. A trio of summer signings swept the board at Royal Wootton Bassett Town Women's First Team's end of season presentation on Saturday evening as the side celebrated a campaign in which they finished as South West Regional Women's Football League Division One Eastern runners-up and matched the club's best ever run in the Women's FA Cup. Chris Taylor was rewarded for another outstanding season for Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Men's First Team as the veteran central midfielder claimed both the Manager's and Players' Player of the Year prizes as the club celebrated the 2023-24 campaign at the Men's Section end of season presentation on Friday evening.

The provisional constitution for the 2024-25 Hellenic League Premier Division season has been published by the Football Association, with the allocations for all leagues at steps one through six of the National League System being released. There are only set to be three changes to the Hellenic League for the 2024-25 campaign, in which Bassett will be looking to go one better after falling short in the playoff final at the end of last season. After the disappointment of relegation, Royal Wootton Bassett Town quickly got back to winning ways in 2023-24. And after a successful campaign, they finished as runners-up in the South West Regional Women's Football League Division One Eastern.
