It's definitely needed on the club website there's only 7 first team coaching staff listed including Grix, with one being a performance analyst and a couple of rehab and sports scientists with very little experience. Ellis isn't listed on there but that's still an incredibly low number for a professional sports team. We need to be getting in at least half a dozen experienced back room staff, imo this is just as important as next seasons player signings.
Heh! I am obviously in the minority here who feel that Wire are a bigger threat than Saints. I just think Saints don't really have that much in attack, they don't have a Harry Smith, or a Bevan French, or, indeed, a George Williams. Time will tell.

Yup our carelessness with the ball and a few instances where we just switched off meant we never looked like winning. On the other side of the coin I thought we ‘could’ score pretty much every time we attacked. We made decent metres and they looked a bit off from where they’ve been in the last couple of weeks. Can’t really fault anyone. Wish we converted more tries but I’ve got used to us scoring in multiples of 4 now. Don’t think we missed Miloudi if I’m honest. Campo seems to be on the way back. The hitups by the backs are largely driven by where and when we start sets. When we're starting sets right back on our own line, the kicker has often had ages to make a long kick, and the defence has time to run as a line (their forwards also haven't had to struggle as much as they should, making easy yards up the middle). We then generally have to make two or three hard runs from outside backs before the forwards even get into position to get the ball. Contrast to when a team is pinned back and has to kick from deep. It’s been a problem posting on the site, don’t know if it’s me, but really annoying trying to type.
I went to the Salford game, it was nice to see Sneyd being presented with his black and white shirt by Adam, the little half is a mercurial talent, and despite his age was the ultimate reason for our hard earned defeat.
I was talking to two chaps from Salford who were very disappointed we had managed to sign Amir Borough, I said I didn’t know much about him, and if he was that good why isn’t he playing... Читать дальше...

Great win but let's not do that again re. no.9, should've just stuck Farrell there and left him, as said above we've ended up playing with one halfback for most of the game.
Hopefully the rumour about O'Neil being injured anyway is just that, we really need him back in the side next week and beyond.
Take a bow Zach Eckersley, never put a foot wrong all night and a shout out to the Saints youngster, he looks a real talent, that might be the end of Dodd and Bennison as Saints first teamers bar an injury crisis

I'm sorry, but that was nothing special.
The regular amount of errors/penalties. You stick a Huddersfield and Salford jumper on those two sides, and an attendance of 4500, and you wouldn't bat an eyelid
Too many are being swept away by Sky's hyperbole

Tonight's game compared to last nights game was like chalk and cheese.
Great game to watch especially the young lads on show.
Delaney a teenager making 50+ tackles along with the other kids on show made it really competitive.
I`m no lip reader but when Walters dropped the ball in the second half I could have sworn Mat Peet said he`s fecking sh$t.
Anybody else see that?
