Glitchpunk: How to Get Modules (& What They're For) | Screen Rant

0

Modules play an important role in character improvements in Glitchpunk. This guide will show players where they can find the Modules and explain what they are used for. Glitchpunk is the most recent cyberpunk-themed title to release on PC. The game is currently in Early Access, with mixed reception from both players and reviewers.

Similar to the older Grand Theft Auto titles, players can take on missions in Glitchpunk to commit murder or stealing valuable vehicles from a top-down perspective. As with those titles, players can unlock upgrades to make their player character stronger. This guide will show players all the different ways they can get their hands on Modules, which are used to improve characters in Glitchpunk.

Modules allow players to receive substantial boosts to their character customization and builds. Modules can be used to raise Focus, increase total HP, and provide extra action abilities that help when battling enemies. Overall, players should seek Modules as often as possible to improve their gameplay experience. Fortunately, Glitchpunk has a variety of ways for players to collect them.

There are currently three different ways for players to get Modules. The first is by completing contracts. These are the main and side quests available in Glitchpunk. Upon completing them, players will be rewarded with Modules for their hard work.

The second method is by searching containers. When exploring the city, players may come across a sealed container that contains random loot. Players should make sure to open these upon every encounter.

The third method for obtaining Modules requires players to head over to the Pawn Shop. Here, players can purchase a variety of Modules using the credits they earn throughout the game. There are six different Pawn Shops for players to visit, and players can even hack them to bring the price down for certain inventory. Players can earn more Credits in Glitchpunk to spend on Modules by killing NPCs who pose a threat.

Overall, players should be collecting Modules every chance they get. Some Modules may allow players to enter a killing frenzy for additional damage or will allow players to use the handbrake on their vehicles for maximum control. Some of the challenges later in the game may require specific modules to complete. There are dozens of Modules to collect, and those looking to 100% the game will need to collect them all to maximize their potential for success in Glitchpunk's dystopian future.
