Hulu's Crush: Which Character Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?
Warning: The following contains spoilers for Crush, available to stream on Hulu.
Any fan of Hulu's Crush who has ever tried to figure out if their zodiac sign is compatible with their crush's will appreciate that Paige does the same. She only briefly mentions that her zodiac sign should be compatible with her crush's though before moving on, afraid that they'll hear her explanation.
Paige might decide not to analyze her own zodiac sign, but that's what movie fans and zodiac enthusiasts are for. Though there aren't very many named characters in Hulu's Crush, they do all line up pretty perfectly with the 12 signs of the zodiac for curious fans.
Time is one of the few students outside of Paige's social circle who gets screen time in the movie. He's thoroughly convinced that Paige is King Pun, and doesn't miss a chance to tell anyone he thinks so, regardless of what consequences Paige might experience as a result.
Tim has that Aries passion, exemplified in his commitment to meetings of the Renaissance club and the track team. He puts that same passion into having fun as well, as the audience can see with him partying it up at Stacey's house.
King Pun is a persona created by AJ, so the artist wouldn't technically have their own zodiac sign. The persona AJ creates, however, is a pretty decent fit for a Taurus.
King Pun keeps a schedule for their art, sharing a new piece once a week. They appear to stick to that schedule, no matter what, even when AJ knows the administration is looking into the artist, and even when Paige is questioning the existence of the artist. That commitment is definitely a Taurus trait. So is a love of art and luxury in general, something AJ doesn't show in her everyday life, but her talent as King Pun would suggest is there.
While it's not clear if Paige is right, she does name Gabriela as a Gemini at Stacey's party, and the sign certainly fits with Gabriela's personality. Geminis tend to be charming social butterflies who can fit in with anyone.
Gabriela is one of the most popular girls in school, co-captain of the track team, and perfectly willing to take Paige under her wing before AJ starts training her. She hides her real anxieties about her breakup from other people, presenting that charming front to everyone instead. Geminis can be very anxious people, but most of their social circle would never know.
Though Gabriela and AJ are twins and, in reality, would have the same zodiac sign, AJ is more fitting as a Cancer than a Gemini. She feels things deeply, but unlike a lot of Cancers, keeps those feelings close to the vest. AJ might not let people in quickly, but once she does, they're friends for life.
Like most Cancers, AJ sees the good in everyone. When everyone else is put off by Paige's animal facts and corny jokes, AJ encourages her. Even though she hates that everyone puts Gabriela first, she never blames Gabriela for that. She is a Cancer through and through.
Paige's best friend since they were in elementary school, Dillon is an incredibly encouraging and loyal friend. Leos are one of the most loyal signs of the zodiac, so that tracks. Leos also, however, can be very blunt with their friends. They aren't going to sugarcoat anything for people they're close to, and he definitely doesn't with Paige.
Likewise, Leos are committed to being the center of attention. Though everyone around him knows that it's unlikely Dillon will beat out Stacey for class president, Dillon doesn't hesitate to draw attention to himself or continue to tell people that he's the one coming out on top.
Chantal is mostly seen through the eyes of Paige and AJ, both of whom are convinced that Chantal put some sort of curse on them at the start of their high school days. They're not exactly right about that.
As it turns out, Chantal has been planning for the two to get together since freshman year, putting a lot of energy into a love spell for them. That's the kind of caring and planning exhibited by a Virgo, even if it does seem a little invasive on her part.
Libras are all about having balance in their lives. They are natural leaders who can see all points of view in a crisis, but they also tend to work better when they have teammates. Perhaps that's why Principal Collins seems to work better when she can turn down Coach Murray's outlandish proposals.
Principal Collins also has the same charm that Libras (and Geminis) exhibit. She is conversational with her students, even when she's doling out suspensions for defacing school property.
Paige's mom is one of the most supportive adults in the entire movie. That being said, sometimes, she goes a little overboard in her efforts to support her daughter, and that's largely because she takes the Scorpio approach to getting things done.
Scorpios go after what they want aggressively. For Angie, that isn't just her daughter's happiness, but also her own desire for companionship. She has no problem telling Coach Murray exactly what she wants from him, but she also keeps that Scorpio air of mystery by insisting he finds her number and call her.
Sagittarius is often seen as the wanderer of the zodiac because they're always searching for the next thing to satisfy them, whether that's a relationship or a new travel destination. For Coach Murray, it appears to be the former as he pursues Paige's mom.
He also has that bluntness that belongs to a Sagittarius, saying whatever is on his mind, even if it might not be appropriate for the situation.
Dillon's girlfriend and one of Paige's closest friends, it seems like there's nothing Stacey can't do. She's a bright student, a member of the track team, and running for class president. Stacey is easily one of the hardest working and most ambitious of Paige's friends.
That ambition and diligence are absolutely Capricorn traits. So is her loyalty to her friends. Stacey is fully prepared to keep Paige's secret about kissing Gabriela until she has a chance to talk to AJ about it, but Gabriela spills the beans first. When given the chance, Stacey makes sure her first act as president helps Paige's love life and AJ's school life instead.
Erin only has a handful of scenes in Crush, but the scenes the audience does see demonstrate that Erin is fully herself, no matter the situation. She isn't going to conform to social standards just to make someone else happy.
That tends to manifest in her talking nonstop about her favorite pet, her horse. That tends to be what turns Paige off from the potential of a relationship with her, but that wouldn't bother Erin one bit as an Aquarius is always ready to go their own path instead of doing what others want them to do.
Paige is a self-professed Pisces. She mentions her sign to Gabriela, who can't hear her, at Stacey's party. Pisces is a pretty fitting sign for Paige. They are the dreamers of the zodiac, often thought of as the most creative, which is right in line with her desire to be an artist.
Pisces are also very in touch with their emotions, though they often try to escape dealing with them first. That's also in line with Paige's attitude in the movie as she fixates on her crush on Gabriela all while she's falling for AJ.
