State Sen. Kevin Parker, a Brooklyn Democrat, won’t face charges after he was accused of shoving an advocate twice in the state capitol building last week. Disability rights advocate Michael Carey tells The Associated Press that he spoke with Parker on Friday and that they “resolved things in a peaceable way.” He had filed a complaint with New York State Police after a heated exchange turned physical on May 15. Republican National Committee’s headquarters evacuated after vials of blood are addressed to Trump

The Republican National Committee’s Washington headquarters has been briefly evacuated as police investigated two vials of blood addressed to ex-President Donald Trump following his takeover of the national party apparatus. U.S. Capitol Police say hazardous-materials teams were called in Wednesday after the vials were discovered. It's unclear if anyone came into contact with the blood or to whom it belongs. A person familiar with the situation says the vials were addressed to Trump. Trump’s handpicked leadership team recently took over the RNC.



Shooting at linen company in Philadelphia suburb leaves 2 dead, 3 wounded, police say

Police say a shooting early Wednesday at a linen company in a Philadelphia suburb killed two people dead and wounded three others. The shooting at Delaware County Linen in Chester occurred around 8:30 a.m., and a suspect was taken into custody at the scene. A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
