An audio recording of air traffic controllers indicates that a private jet that crashed at Maine's Bangor International Airport flipped over soon after takeoff. The Bombardier Challenger 600 crashed around 7:45 p.m. during a snowstorm, and there has been no word yet on the conditions of the eight people aboard. The audio recording includes someone saying “We have a passenger aircraft upside down.” The National Transportation Safety Board says preliminary information shows the plane crashed upon departure and later caught fire. The agency said it would have no further statement until after its investigators arrive in a day or two.
