An armed robber who broke into a London home where Anya Taylor-Joy was staying has been sentenced to three years in prison. Prosecutors say Kirk Holdrick and another masked man appeared to target the "Queen's Gambit" star and her husband, Malcolm McRae, because they tried to force their way into the couple's bedroom rather than stealing valuables. The incident happened on Feb. 12, 2023. The intruders fled after McRae shouted that he had a gun. Holdrick, who is already serving time for other robberies, initially denied the burglary but later pleaded guilty. The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the sentence at Woolwich Crown Court.
