HORRIFIC violence erupted between Tottenham and Ajax fans after their Champions League match last night.
Shocking video shows the brutal clashes in which three police officers were injured as glass bottles were thrown in the north London streets near Spurs’ new stadium.
Before the game, four people were arrested as cops battled to control the mob — who were throwing missiles at each other at around 7.15pm.
It is understood that is when three cops were harmed.
And another five further arrests were made prior to kick-off in separate incidents, the Metropolitan Police said.
Tempers continued to flare up again on High Road after the game, just along from the new stadium, when Tottenham lost their Champions League semi-final 1-0 to Ajax.
The fighting took place despite stewards holding the Dutch club’s fans inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a while after the full-time whistle.
More glass and traffic cones were lobbed between the two sets of fans, along with kicks and punches being swung.
Cops were also seen striking fans with batons who were causing trouble.
One video is understood to show a group of Ajax supporters advancing on Spurs fans with the Londoners retreating before trying to stand up to the apparent troublemakers.
Thousands of Ajax Amsterdam fans had thronged Leicester Square earlier in the day to celebrate their team’s first foray into the final-four of European football’s elite club competition for 22 years.
