CHRIS Evans has hinted that the royal baby has already been born on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show this morning.
The presenter, 53, teased the news as he revealed that the Queen had been to see The Duke and Duchess of Sussex at their home in Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle over the weekend.
“We sit here still finding ourselves. Some say minus a new royal baby or do we… ladies and gentleman?,” Chris said.
As his news presenter continued to press him for more information the radio host replied: “I’m not sure what I know, but I think I know something.”
He continued: “Well, there’s more than a hint, what more of a hint do you want, other than the fact that I think there might be a new royal baby already?
“I’m just saying, I’m just putting it out there, right? The Queen has been to see Meghan and Harry at their place, right? Now, she doesn’t do that. That’s all I’m saying.”
The Sun on Sunday revealed that Meghan’s due date was April 28, however while there has been no official announcement of the birth of baby Sussex, Buckingham Palace announced that Meghan and Harry will keep the birth of their first-born private until they have had an opportunity to celebrate as a family.
In a statement, the palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby.
“Their Royal Highness’s have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.
“The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
However, in addition to the Queen’s telling house visit, friends of Meghan have already confirmed that the royal couple’s Windsor home was her “favoured choice” as a location to deliver the baby.
And fans are already predicting that there are already signs that she has given birth, stemming from her mum Doria Ragland and her makeup artist’s arrival in the UK, to her long maternity leave, Prince Harry’s outing at the London Marathon and even a social media post shared a few weeks ago.
The post, which thanked well-wishers for making donations in lieu of sending baby gifts, said: “On behalf of The Duke and Duchess (and Baby Sussex), we thank you so much.”
“I get anxiety every time you guys post thinking it’s baby news ” commented one fan.
