Women rave about Huda Beauty’s liquid highlighter that gives the illusion of wearing tights
SHOPPERS are raving about a body highlighter from Huda Beauty after the make-up brand took to Instagram to post a video of the hot new product.
Founded and named after Dubai beauty-blogged Huda Kattan, a clip surfaced on Huda Beauty’s social media page, showing the uses of the N.Y.M.P.H highlighter ahead of its launch worldwide.
Featuring YouTube star Looks By Lexington, from Los Angeles, America, the video of the shimmering product has since been watched by over two million make-up lovers.
And thousands of fans who have joined the waiting-list for the highlighter, which gives a glowy look to legs and the appearance of wearing tights, took to the comment section to praise the creation.
Quoting beauty blogger Lexington, Huda Beauty wrote below the video: “This new liquid highlighter is amazing. You can use it on your face and body. I can’t wait to mix it with my foundation.”
The highlighter will hit the brand’s website on May 3, and with many shoppers already on the waiting list, it looks to be one of the hottest make-up products this summer.
“So gorgeous and stunning with such great coverage,” a fan enthused in the comment section. “That glow is amazing, such a beautiful product from Huda Beauty.”
While another joked: “Excuse me while I just dip my entire body in this angelic gold liquid of my dreams.”
Another simply added: “This product is just WOW.”
In the product description for N.Y.M.P.H, which stands for ‘Not your mama’s panty hose’, Huda Beauty explain it’s ‘designed for everyday use for radiant skin on your face and body’.
The three shade range, which also features a specially designed leg brush, will be available in stores from May 17.
Detailing her inspiration for the new product, Huda explained “I am a huge fan of Beyoncé and I was in awe of how flawless and luminous her legs look when she’s on stage.
“She is the closest thing we have to a goddess, so we wanted to take a modern twist on the pantyhose look without the fuss and discomfort of actual pantyhose.
“It was important for me to create something that could be used every day for a gorgeous all-over glow that could withstand water and sweat.”
But not everyone was a fan of the highlighter, with some noting how impractical the liquid make-up would be.
“That literally looks like it would just get everywhere and you’d be out ruining people’s beds and couches,” one women wrote.
While another agreed: “This looks as thought it’s going to take forever to do. I hardly have time to shave just one leg.”
“Looks like you took a can of metallic spray paint to your legs,” a third joked. “I wouldn’t wear this.”
