JURGEN KLOPP turned the air blue after watching his Reds make the Champions League final.
There are few words to describe the efforts of Liverpool’s players to overturn a three-goal deficit against European giants Barcelona.
But “f***ing giants” goes some way to doing so and BT Sport presenter Gary Lineker was right not to apologise for the post-watershed outburst.
Jubilant Klopp, 51, beamed: “The whole game was actually too much. Overwhelming.
“Playing against maybe the best in world and not allowed to concede and have to score four.
“Winning is already difficult but with clean sheet, I don’t know how they did it.
“How they defended. Its 10 past 10 all the kids are in bed – these players are f***ing giants.
“If you have to fine me, fine me.”
Some of Liverpool’s heroes burst into tears following the final whistle.
And Klopp added: “I saw Milner crying it means so much it means so much to all of us.
“You saw a couple of faces in the stadium. It’s the best phase of football because there are more important things in the world but creating this emotional atmosphere is so special.”
We fought and knew it would be special – we wanted to fight for the injured guys.
Two-goal hero Origi
After setting up the decisive fourth with a quick-thinking corner routine, Trent Alexander Arnold explained: “It was just instinctive, one of those moments, I saw the opportunity and Origi was switched on to finish it off.
“He is a top player and it’s one of them where everyone will remember this moment.”
Two-goal ace Origi added: “I think it was more the team than me. We did so well.
“We fought and knew it would be special – we wanted to fight for the injured guys. It’s special, it’s hard to describe you can feel it. Unbelievable.”
While skipper Jordan Henderson reflected on the spectacular performance.
He said: “I don’t think many give us a chance and before the game.
