LIVERPOOL fans around the world went berserk after their club’s historic Champions League comeback but no celebration was more heart-warming than Naby Keita’s.
The midfielder missed the Reds historic European win over Barcelona through injury but became one of thousands of supporters donning the Anfield shirt at home.
The Catalans were cruising with a three-goal advantage in Merseyside but Divock Origi scored either side of Georginio Wijnaldum’s quickfire double to seal an incredible win.
The dramatic encounter was too much to bear for Keita, who posted a video of himself sitting on his living room floor watching the final minutes with his head in his hands.
The Guinean then shared a following clip after the full-time whistle, with the 24-year-old ripping away the medical aid off his left leg to stumble to his feet in celebration.
Keita’s maiden season as a Liverpool player has seemingly come to an early end after he was ruled out for two months following a thigh injury he suffered at the Nou Camp.
RED-EMPTION
The Guinea international was substituted midway through the first half of the Reds’ 3-0 defeat in Spain and will definitely miss the last Premier League game against Wolves.
While it is unlikely Keita will play any part in the final in Madrid next month, the former RB Leipzig star will at least be fit enough to support his teammates from the stands.
His setback was another huge blow to Jurgen Klopp, who had seen the Guinean begin to flourish on Merseyside after a slow start since joining for £48million last summer.
After a stuttering start to life as a Red, Keita has since made 33 appearances in all competitions for his new side, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Liverpool’s historic result over Barcelona was made even more incredible by the fact Klopp was also without both Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino.
The formidable forwards, who have scored a combined 42 goals this season, watched from the stands but joined in the joyous celebrations after the full-time whistle.
Despite their injuries, the Reds frontman are both expected to be fit to play in Liverpool’s ninth European Cup final against the winner of Ajax and Spurs.
