LUIS SUAREZ slammed his Barcelona team-mates for defending “like schoolboys” after a lapse of concentration led to Liverpool’s Champions League winner.
Last night Liverpool completed a memorial comeback at Anfield turning round a 3-0 first leg deficit to put four past Spanish champions Barca – sending the football world into frenzy.
After Divock Origi’s opener and a Georginio Wijnaldum double Jurgen Klopp’s men were within touching distance of a sensational comeback.
England star Trent Alexander-Arnold’s quick thinking corner set up Origi to net a double and rifle Liverpool into a second consecutive Champions League final.
After the game ex-Anfield hero Suarez, who scored the first goal of the tie last week, took aim at his team-mates for conceding the fourth goal like “kids”.
Suarez said: “For their fourth goal we looked like schoolboys, we have to be ready for all the criticism that is going to rain down on us now.
“We are very sad, we are in a lot of pain, we feel this pain even though we are professionals.
“We have to do a lot of self criticism because this is the second time that the same thing has happened to us.
“We cannot commit the same mistake two years in a row, there are many things we need to consider and think about.
“They (Liverpool) did what they wanted to do, which was to score early. They believed from the first minute to the last.

Liverpool will now await the outcome of tonight’s semi-final in Holland between Ajax and Tottenham with Spurs already a goal down.
While Barca bow out having given away a three goal first leg advantage for the second year running – having beat Roma 4-1 in the quarter-finals last year only to lose 3-0 in the return tie going out on away goals.
