Research undertaken by car hire company Vantage Leasing revealed the cheapest motors to insure on the market in 2019.

Drivers should only have to spend £489.41 on their insurance if they choose the 1.0-L manual 3dr S model.
But you may have to pay more if you opt for a turbo-charged version.
Chevrolet Spark – average quote £489.41
It may look like your typical city car, but the Chevrolet Spark has earned praise for its durability.
