The new parents appeared tired but ecstatic as they cradled the newborn in his first official pictures today, with new mum Meghan gushing “I have the best two guys in the world”.
They kept their sleeping baby boy swaddled in a traditional merino wool blanket from royal favourites GH Hurt & Son and hat as they described their as of yet unnamed son.

The Queen is said to have met the youngster this morning – where it is likely she will have been told, and agreed to, his name.
Bookies had suggested names such as Spencer, Alexander, Arthur, James, Phillip, Albert and Henry as possible choices.
A royal expert has revealed that it’s likely the Queen’s opinion will be taken into account in an “informal conversation”.
And if she really isn’t keen, Harry and Meghan would likely take this into account, she said.
But the couple have kept their thoughts under wraps, teasing out details since their son was born on Monday morning.
Today new mum Meghan, 37, stunned in a white dress that bared her arms as she stood by grinning new dad Prince Harry, 34, who cradled and caressed their little boy.
She gushed over life after welcoming her little boy, saying: “It’s magic.
“It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
‘THE BEST TWO GUYS IN THE WORLD’
The location chosen for the couple to reveal their baby boy was a sweet nod to their wedding – having held their reception at St George’s Hall in May last year.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were one of the first to meet their eighth great grandchild, with Meghan making special mention of her mum Doria Ragland who had been by her side.
Harry and Meghan had reportedly spent a “peaceful and emotional” first night with their baby on Monday at Frogmore Cottage.
It comes after it was revealed the American network CBS would be among the small contingent of media to meet the couple to share in the news.

The US network’s morning show is fronted by Gayle King – a close friend of both Meghan Markle who even attended her New York baby shower.
Meghan had initially hoped to give birth at the couple’s newly renovated home of Frogmore Cottage.
However, the new parents were forced to make a secret hospital dash to give birth to their 7lb 3oz baby boy at 5.26am.
