From Hurghada in March to Orlando in November, these budget sunshine breaks all offer sunny times with great deals to each location.
January
For some post Christmas sun, grab your swimmers and head straight for the Canary Islands – this cluster of islands has beautiful weather all year round, but you’ll avoid the crowds this month.
Tenerife has high temperatures of 20C and along with Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria offers plenty of accommodation and all-inclusive deals.
For example, a seven-night break in Tenerife in January 2020 costs just £404 per person with TUI, while an all-inclusive week in Lanzarote is available for £462 per person.
Those with deep pockets that are looking for some long-haul winter sun should head to the Caribbean, where Barbados has average temperatures of 29.1C – with seven nights with British Airways including flights just £785 per person.
Elsewhere, Brazil, Australia and South Africa are wise choices for sun lovers in January, where the average temperatures are around 30 degrees, 27.4 degrees and 27 degrees respectively.
February
Avoid a freezing February by heading to the Caribbean coast of Mexico, where the average temperature during February according to the Met is 32.3 degrees.
Seven nights in Cancun with direct return flights in February 2020 is just £599 per person with Thomas Cook.
Auckland, New Zealand is another long-haul option – as February is its hottest month of the year, at 24.2 degrees on average.
Closer to home, and a lot more wallet-friendly, Cape Verde offers climates of around 25 degrees in February.
Dubbed the ‘African Caribbean’ there’s only a very slim chance of rain to boot – head to the islands of Sal and Boa Vista for the driest weather.
March
For March sunshine, Thailand is calling – Phuket sees its hottest weather this month, with average daily maximums of 33.3 degrees.
Ten nights in the country will set you back just £940 per person when travelling next March.
Rainy season has yet to hit, so the popular sun spot sees just 159mm of rainfall over the course of the month.
But if scorching heat isn’t your thing, head to Egypt’s second-largest city, Hurghada, home of crystal-clear seas and colourful coral reefs as well as new flight routes from Cardiff Airport.
Its desert climate ensures low rainfall during the month of March, and an average maximum temperature of 21.9 ºC.
April
Escape April showers and head to the Marrakesh with its awe-inspiring riads and medinas, where average early summer temperatures are around 25.4 degrees.
Seven nights all-inclusive with Thomas Cook to Marrakesh is just £652 per person when travelling next April.
Or, make like Madonna and head to Portugal. The pretty coastal city of Albufeira can reach temperatures of 20.7 degrees this months, and while nights can be cooler, this is one of Europe’s sunniest regions with up to 8 hours of sunshine per day.
May
Right now, the weather is less than ideal with rain and storms across the UK.
The best place to head this month is Dubai with temperatures over 30 degrees.
Last minute deals this month range from £387 per person for seven nights with Lastminute.com to five days at the five-star Atlantis The Palm for £785 including flights.
June
Tunisia sizzles in June, with average highs of 31 degrees and the prices are still rock bottom as hotels try to attract tourists following a tough couple of years.

In Europe, try Majorca as it sees some of its best weather just before the summer season explodes.
Average temperatures rise to around 23C in the last few days of the month and seven-nights all-inclusive are on offer with Jet2 Holidays.
July
Theoretically, the UK should be a warm weather haven with blue skies and miles of coastal beauty in July.
With that in mind, head to the Cornish coast, which gets our best weather in July – but you might not be alone when you hit the beach.
It’s likely to be bulging with other holidaymakers enjoying the fine seafood, rock pools, surfing and cream teas.
The hotel prices aren’t cheap but you’ll be saving money on flights and currency conversion.
But if British summer time lets you down, don your grass skirt and jump on a plane to Hawaii, which sees average temperatures of 26 degrees – you’ll need to be prepared to spend though.
August
If British weather isn’t floating your boat in August, head to Menorca in the Balearic Islands.
Menorca’s average temperature this month is a pleasant 25 degrees and while it certainly isn’t quiet during the summer holidays, the island offers a less crowded getaway than its neighbours, Majorca and Ibiza.

September
As the weather cools on home shores, much of Europe still enjoys predominantly balmy days.
Try Bodrum, on Turkey’s Agean coast, which boasts average temperatures of up to 30.7C.
The bustling tourist resort gets glorious sunshine and has a buzzing atmosphere with the stunning beaches of Gumbet, Torba and Bitez nearby.

October
If you’re looking for somewhere hot enough to swim in the sea during October, Cyprus ticks your boxes.
Pretty Paphos has highs of around 26.7C and ten hours of sunshine per day with the the sea temperature a bath-like 24 degrees, so perfect for a pre-winter dip.

Portugal’s Algarve is another winner for late Autumn sun, with average highs of 23.2C and over seven hours of sunshine per day.
November
Orlando in Florida remains at high temperatures even in the winter months, up to 29 degrees in the day, and no lower than 15 degrees at night.
There is also little chance of rain, making it the perfect destination for the cold Brits to flee to.
The area is popular with Disney fans thanks to the Disney World in the region.
Thankfully deals start from £459 per person for seven nights and flights with LoveHolidays, while Disney World Resort holidays in November start from £1,021 with Thomas Cook.
December
Australia is the perfect place to spend Christmas thanks to the hottest temperatures compared to the snowy UK.
Melbourne has an average 25.5 degrees in December with eight hours of sunshine a day, while Brisbane reaches 28.2 degrees, rarely falling below 20 degrees at night.
Flights to Brisbane can be found for just £713 return when travelling with Emirates, with a stop in Dubai.

Despite the chilly weather, the UK faced the hottest Easter on record, with Brits enjoying up to 25 degrees last month.
Other hot destinations include Goa and Los Angeles for guaranteed warm weather.
Closer to home, Malta and Croatia often face hotter climates when the UK is cold.
