David Beckham, Peter Andre and Katie Price rush to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they show off royal baby for the first time
DAVID BECKHAM, Peter Andre and Katie Price have led the celebrity well-wishers after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduced their son to the world today.
Taking to his Instagram Story, 44-year-old David shared one of the photos of the new family.
He captioned the post: “Huge congratulations on a beautiful baby boy @SussexRoyal
“Those smiles on being a mum and dad for the first time.”
The father-of-four added a heart-eyes emoji.
David’s wife Victoria Beckham shared a similar photo to her main feed, captioning the snap: “Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex #PrinceHarry and #MeghanMarkle on their baby boy! So happy for you both.”
Former glamour model Katie Price shared a tribute on her Instagram Story, posting a photo with gifs added that read “royal baby”, “wow”, and “congratulations”.
Katie’s ex-husband Peter Andre, was even more excited – making several posts to his main Instagram page to mark the occasion.
The singer shared three photos in total, writing in one of the captions: “Love them. Congratulations.”
In a second, he asked his wife Emily to help calm his excitement, writing: “Ah can’t stop posting these pics. Emily help!!!”
“Beautiful, just beautiful – congratulations.”
A third saw the father-of-four edit a picture of the royals, adding an arrow pointing to Meghan that read “let me sleep”, one to Harry saying “I need coffee damn it” and one to Baby Sussex reading “check out my new crib”.
Other celebs to pay tribute include actress Kathy Burke, who praised Meghan for having her post-partum bump on display.
Retweeting a video of Meghan and Harry earlier today, she wrote: “Still proudly showing her baby bump too. I like her more and more.”
US blogger Perez Hilton shared his shock that we still don’t have a name for the royal baby, writing: “Our first look at #BabySussex! I’m surprised they presented him to the world without announcing his name yet!”
And the Loose Women panellists couldn’t resist gushing over the newborn after the lunchtime show cut live to the moment Harry and Meghan introduced their son to the world.
