Robertson leaves hospital with bandaged leg after run-in with Suarez in Liverpool’s comeback win over Barcelona
LIVERPOOL star Andrew Robertson was seen leaving hospital with his injured leg bandaged following his run-in with Luis Suarez on Tuesday night.
The Reds miraculously overturned a 3-0 first-leg deficit to stun Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield and advance to the Champions League final.
Already missing Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita, Liverpool fans were left sweating after Robertson was hauled off at half-time.
The Scottish left-back, 25, collided with former fan-favourite-turned-enemy Suarez at Anfield during a heated first-half.
While Robertson’s replacement, Georginio Wijnaldum, went on to score twice in as many minutes just moments after coming on, the long-term outlook appears bleak.
With Liverpool still aiming to steal the Premier League title away from Manchester City on the final day of the season and the Champions League final to contest, the Reds will want him fit.
However, Robertson was seen with his lower-right leg bandaged up following a scan on his calf.
After the incredible game at Anfield on Tuesday night, Robertson revealed: “It doesn’t feel the best at the minute but I’ll get a scan tomorrow.
“SAYING MY PRAYERS”
“They’re confident that it’s just a nerve or whatever and it can be maybe a couple of days, but we’ll wait and see.
“We can’t really comment until I get the scan, but I’ll be saying my prayers tonight.”
Liverpool fans will be hoping the bandaging and support is little more than a precaution with two monster games still to compete.
Should Robertson not be fit to face Wolves and either Ajax or Tottenham, James Milner is likely to be drafted in.
Failing that, Jurgen Klopp may need to turn to Alberto Moreno – who hasn’t played since January 7 – and has made just five appearances all season.
If Robertson doesn’t recover, Liverpool fans are set to crank up their newfound hatred towards Suarez up another notch.

After a glittering spell at Anfield, Suarez has only recently been the subject of Reds’ supporters anger.
The Uruguayan wound up fans, including former Liverpool star John Aldridge, with his behaviour in the first-leg at Barcelona.
And he was hardly any better back at Anfield – where fans chanted “cheat” and “f*** off Suarez” – after a series of incidents, including his clash with Robertson.
