New royal baby stars in his first Instagram post in stylish filtered pictures with Meghan and Harry
BABY Sussex is just days old but he has already become a social media sensation in his first Instagram post.
The “SussexRoyal” account published pictures of the youngest royal this afternoon – complete with the obligatory filters.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to share three images of “their first public moment as a family”, as they revealed him to the world.
Two were black and white images of the proud parents gazing adoringly at their bundle of joy and then walking away from cameras.
While another was a shot of them walking as a three through the doors to St Georges Hall in Windsor Castle.
The images were taken by photographer Chris Allerton, who snapped their Christmas card.
A caption to accompany the pictures read: “Today the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family.
“They are so incredibly grateful for the warm wishes and support they’ve received from everyone around the world, since welcoming their son two days ago.”
Today new mum Meghan, 37, stunned in a white dress that bared her arms as she stood by grinning new dad Prince Harry, 34, who cradled and caressed their little boy.
She kept a watchful eye over her baby boy as she described life as a mum, saying: “It’s magic.
‘A SPECIAL COUPLE OF DAYS’
“It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
And she said the baby boy, who is just two days old, already had the “sweetest temperament” – with Harry interjecting: “I don’t know who he gets that from!”
The loving parents couldn’t keep their eyes off the little boy, with Meghan putting a hand on her “dream” newborn as dad Harry held him tight.
She added: “It’s been a special couple of days.”
But they couldn’t pin down just who their son looked like, with Prince Harry saying the baby boy was “changing every single day”.
Looking down at his son, Harry said: “Parenting is amazing. It’s only been what – two and a half days, three days – but we are just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and to be able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly starts to grow up.”
