Woman gives her kitchen a modern makeover for just 30 PENCE with grey tester pots from B&Q
A WOMAN has revealed how she managed to give her entire kitchen a makeover – for just 30p.
Posting on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, started by thrifty mum Holly Smith, she shared her incredible before-and-after photos.
With wooden surfaces, cream cupboards and walls, her kitchen looked fairly ordinary.
But after a lick of on-trend grey paint, she managed to update the tired walls and give the room a chic vibe.
Posting online, she revealed she bought three pots of tester paint from B&Q which was enough to cover her entire kitchen.
She said: “My bargain of the day! 10p tester pots from b+q cost me 30p altogether just thought it gave my kitchen a nice effect.”
The DIY enthusiast revealed she used a shade called Black Pepper from the hardware store, which normally costs £16 for a litre.
Adding she was “well chuffed” with the result, her thrifty tip is going down a storm online.
Her post has been liked more than 700 times, with people praising her bargain makeover.
