WWE star Drew McIntyre hopes this upcoming week can start a reign of dominance for both him and his beloved Glasgow Rangers.
The 33-year-old “Scottish Psychopath” is back in the UK on tour with the world’s largest wrestling organisation.
He then has the chance next Sunday to claim the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase that will secure him an anytime, anywhere title shot of his choosing.
The dominating Ayr-born grappler, much like the Gers, has rebuilt himself over recent years and is the odds-on favourite to triumph next week.
And he believes that will cap a momentous seven days for him, starting with an Old Firm victory for Rangers against champions Celtic on Sunday.
‘TERRIBLE VERSION’
Even without hothead goalkeeper Allan McGregor through suspension for his violent kick on Hibs’ Marc McNulty.
McIntyre, real name Andrew Galloway, told Sun Sport: “I think we stand a chance and the last Old Firm game we actually played better.
“It is cool to see Rangers almost back at that level and compete with Celtic.
“And that also puts more eyes on Scottish football as that is the one big anger we have for people to pay more attention.
“So I’m glad to see Rangers competitive again and we are going to win this one.
“And if McGregor could try not to do my Claymore Kick – he was sent off the other for attempting to do it.
“It was a terrible version – so if he can avoid doing that again that would be sweet.”

“Sure, WrestleMania did not go to plan, but there’s no shame in losing there to Roman Reigns. Undertaker lost to him to, so I just look at the next match and the goal is clear in my mind and the future is inevitable.
