ONEPLUS has launched two new handsets to take on the iPhone.
The One Plus 7 and 7 Pro are both out in the coming weeks, but the 7 Pro, with an odd pop-up selfie camera and beautiful all-screen display, is the headline act.

Its motorised front snapper leaps up from the top of the frame, like the flash on an old school camera, giving the phone an amazing uninterrupted display.
The 7 Pro costs an eye-watering £800, a good £300 more than previous OnePlus phones, but is still well under the hefty £999 price tag of the iPhone XS.
OnePlus unveiled the blower at a lavish event in London this afternoon.
“We constantly challenge ourselves to give people the best experience possible,” said founder and CEO Pete Lau.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve built with the OnePlus 7 series, and can’t wait for people to try out the display.”
The Chinese firm is known for producing budget handsets with high-end features that rival the very best iPhones and Samsungs.
However, it’s done things a little differently with this release. OnePlus normally only launches one flagship at a time, but today unveiled two: The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro.
The 7 Pro is by far the more impressive, with a ginormous 6.67″ display with almost no bezels.
That’s possible because OnePlus has squeezed a motorised 16MP selfie camera into the phone itself – it only pops up when you need it.
It rises automatically in less than a second when you switch to the front camera, or activate face unlock. OnePlus claims it can be opened and closed 150 times a day for over five years before it breaks.
On the back, the firm has stuck a triple camera array that comes with a 48MP main camera, 8MP telefoto lens and a wide-angle snapper.

Outside of the cameras, key features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor and HDR enabled display – though the phone’s got no wireless charging capabilities to speak of.
The 7 Pro is rapid, running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip and backed by up to 12GB of RAM and a 90Hz display refresh rate, making animations super smooth.
It comes in three colours: Nebular Blue, Mirror Gray and Almond. The cheaper OnePlus 7, however only comes in Mirror Gray.
We needn’t say much about the 7 – it’s a cheaper version of the Pro that does little to improve on last October’s OnePlus 6T.
It’s more for buyers on a budget, starting at £499 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s stripped of key Pro features like the pop-up selfie camera.
The 7 is out some time in June, and maxes out at £549 for 256GB of memory and 8GB of RAM.
The 7 Pro, on the other hand, comes out May 21, starting at £649 for 128 GB of memory and 6GB of RAM.
You can splash out a little more to get one with all the bells and whistles, which comes in at £799 for 256GB of memory and 12GB of RAM, though this is only available in Nebular Blue.
At the event, OnePlus also teased a third phone, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. It’s launching on EE later this year, with no word on price or release date just yet.
