THE British Soap Awards will be returning this summer, celebrating the best storylines we’ve gotten to watch from continuing dramas over the past 12 months.

When is the British Soap Awards 2019?
The British Soap Awards 2019 will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
ITV will broadcast the annual ceremony live from Manchester’s Lowry Theatre, where it will celebrate and reflect on the biggest storylines from the nation’s favourite continuing dramas.
This year’s edition is the second time in the show’s 21-year history that the show will be aired live, having previously been pre-taped days before viewers would see it on television.

Phillip Schofield will be hosting the show, it’s been confirmed.
The TV personality has been helming the ceremony as the official host since 2006.
Fern Britton previously hosted the British Soap Awards from 2006 until 2008.
How can I vote?
The British Soap Awards are giving fans the option to vote for three of the categories for this year’s event – Best British Soap, Best Actor and Best Actress.
The other awards will be decided by a panel of experts.
