But today the name John Buchan prompts no ripples of recognition. The area’s fifth Chick-fil-A restaurant is taking shape on West Central Avenue at McCord Road in Sylvania Township. The site had been home to a Walgreens pharmacy, which closed in 2015. The property sold for $2.1 million in January, and construction crews recently tore down the pharmacy. Chick-fil-A has not said when the new restaurant will open and did not return calls seeking comment.
