Vote nears on 'permitless' concealed carry of handguns

COLUMBUS — A controversial bill to make Ohio the 22nd state to allow the carrying of hidden handguns in public without a permit could come to a vote in the state House of Representatives as early as next week.

Charles "Chuck," or "Charlie," or "Boppy" Henry Puhl III, longtime owner and operator of a Sylvania electrical contractor company, died Oct. 26 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was 73.
