BOWLING GREEN — Mark Wells, 66, a BG hockey alum who was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey “Miracle on Ice” team that won a gold medal in the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid, N.Y., defeating the Soviet Union, died Saturday.
