Man Utd turn to West Ham fullback Aaron Cresswell

Manchester United are eyeing West Ham fullback Aaron Cresswell.

The Sun says Louis van Gaal has identified West Ham left-back Cresswell has his top January target following Luke Shaw's horror leg break.

Shaw could miss the rest of the season after fracturing the tibia and fibula in his right leg against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night.

And it is claimed United will make a £15m move for Cresswell when the transfer window reopens.

Allardyce insists no grudge against West Ham

Sam Allardyce holds no grudge towards West Ham United.

Allardyce left the Hammers at the end of last season.

He insists it was a mutual split with West Ham.

Allardyce said: "The split was the right time for both of us. I was ready, the time was right. But perhaps we both could have done it better."



Aston Villa to bid for Oldham keeper Joel Coleman

Oldham Athletic goalkeeper Joel Coleman is interesting Aston Villa.

The Daily Star Sunday says Sherwood has sent his goalkeeper coach to watch the £1m-rated stopper, 19, twice already this season.

Villa are in the market for a young keeper signing.

Sunderland's England Under 21 keeper Jordan Pickford, on loan at Preston, Southend's Dan Bentley and Wycombe No.1 Matt Ingram have also been watched.

West Brom are chasing Blackburn Rovers midfielder Jason Lowe.

Lowe, 24 had an injury-blighted campaign last season but Albion boss Tony Pulis is an admirer and has asked scouts to keep him updated, says the Daily Star Sunday.

Lowe, rated at £5m, can play in midfield or at right-back.

But he has struggled with the recurrence of a foot injury of late and Albion will want that cured before making any offer for the player.

Chelsea and Arsenal are chasing Sion striker Moussa Konate.

The People says the 22-year-old, who plays for Swiss club Sion and is rated at £10million, hit five goals at the London 2012 Olympics and Tottenham, West Ham and Everton are also interested.

Konate joined Sion from Russian side Krasnodar last year and has also played for Genoa in Italy and Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv. He has won 10 caps for Senegal and is under contract with Sion until 2018.
