Juventus are eyeing Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy.

Debuchy is weighing up his future at Arsenal after finding himself on the outer this season.

Italian sources say Juventus are lining up a move for unsettled Debuchy when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Serie A champions are currently enduring a number of issues at the back, while the France international is also understood to have fallen out with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger this season.

Alan Pardew admits he has ambitions beyond Crystal Palace.

Despite his side sitting seventh in the Premier League, above the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, the 54-year-old says he wants the chance to manage at a "big club", in comments that will worry Palace fans.

"It is an ambition of mine," Pardew told BT Sport.

"I won't ever let it rest until I'm done, to get to one of the big clubs, because I want a bigger percentage chance of winning.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew admits he fancies the England job.

Pardew says he would like the job for one tournament only.

"I think the England job is a job that's unique in that it brings a certain pressure. I've experienced some of that at pressure the clubs I'd been at.

"If Roy (Hodgson), and after Roy somebody else, if it ever turned up at my doorstep I would say to the FA, I'll have one tournament.

Norwich to make fourth bid for Wolves striker Benik Afobe

Norwich City remain in the hunt for Wolves striker Benik Afobe.

The Express & Star says Norwich have not given up on landing Afobe with a fourth bid in January, it would appear.

The Canaries made three bids for the 22-year-old in August, the last for £10million which would have netted the player £40,000-a-week.

Their scouts again ran the rule over Afobe in the 3-0 win at Fulham on Tuesday night, making it clear they are planning another offer.

Watford skipper Troy Deeney eager to break scoring duck

Watford skipper Troy Deeney is eager to snap his scoring duck.

Deeney looks to finally get off the mark in the top-flight at Bournemouth today.

He told the Daily Star: "Hopefully if I can get one then I can get three or four goals pretty quick. The more people ask the more irrelevant it's becoming.

"For me the main thing is the manager respects what I'm doing and the players respect what I'm doing. I'm in the top five for assists so I'm not doing too bad."
