A Dodgers batboy heroically saved Shohei Ohtani with a sick barehanded catch
LOOK OUT SHOHEI OHTANI!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAA!
That’s what I yelled when I saw this clip from a recent Los Angeles Dodgers game. I don’t have much context here, but here’s what we know: it looks like someone hit a scorching foul ball at the Dodgers’ dugout, and it was heading right at Ohtani, who did have a helmet on, but it could have been BAD.
But there was No. 94, a batboy, who casually caught the foul ball with his bare hands, handed to a fan, nodded and went on as if he didn’t just save what looks like a grateful Ohtani and the Dodgers from absolute disaster.
