Drugs are "not cool" and its use is not a style statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Tuesday. In a video message played out to mark the Drug Free India Campaign, he also said narcotics trade is a big threat to the safety and security of India. Terming, drugs as a great menace to society, the prime minister said, as per WHO estimates, over three crore people around the world are suffering from drug addiction. Govt allows part sale of coal from captive mines in open market

The government on Tuesday allowed sale of 25 per cent of coal production from captive mines in the open market, a move aimed at increasing competitiveness and making future auction of blocks attractive. SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida want to know who spray-painted "#MeToo" on the leg of a statue depicting a sailor and a dental assistant kissing at the end of World War II. Sarasota police said in a news release that officers found the phrase painted in red on the left leg of the woman in the "Unconditional Surrender" statue in Sarasota early Tuesday.
