Missouri Republicans try to remove man with ties to KKK from party ballot

Missouri Republicans are trying to remove a man associated with the Ku Klux Klan from their party's ticket. Southwestern Missouri man Darrell Leon McClanahan is a longshot candidate in the GOP primary to replace Gov. Mike Parson. McClanahan has previously described himself as “pro-white." He disputes being a member of the Ku Klux Klan, but he says he was given an honorary one-year membership. The GOP Party is refunding McClanahan’s candidate filing fee and asking him to voluntarily withdraw from the ballot. Читать дальше...
