Young Afghan migrant killed in Tehran, Iran

On Saturday, Iranian media reported that a young Afghan man was killed in Tehran, Iran’s capital city.

According to reports, this incident occurred ten days ago, and the police have since arrested the suspected perpetrator.

According to Iranian media, earlier this month, police authorities were informed about the suspicious death of a young Afghan man in an apartment in eastern Tehran.

Initial investigations indicate that the Afghan youth was the victim of severe violence, and his body has been transferred to the forensic medical centre for further examination.

So far, the motive for this murder and the identities of the victim and the perpetrator have not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, a significant number of Afghan migrants in Iran have endured multiple hardships, including various violations, harassment, torture, and detention.

Additionally, the forced deportation of numerous Afghan migrants from Iran has exacerbated their challenges and uncertainties, further intensifying the dire humanitarian situation they face in the country.
