Florida International earns 74-59 victory against LIU
MIAMI (AP) — Arturo Dean had 27 points in Florida International’s 74-59 victory against Long Island on Saturday night.
Dean added seven rebounds and six steals for the Panthers (3-7). Jayden Brewer added 14 points while shooting 5 of 10 from the field and 3 for 5 from the line, and he also had five rebounds. Okechukwu Okeke had 13 points and shot 4 of 7 from the field and 4 for 7 from the line.
R.J. Greene led the way for the Sharks (1-6) with 13 points and seven rebounds. Terell Strickland added 12 points and seven rebounds for LIU. Eric Acker also had 12 points.

Florida International next plays Wednesday against Florida Atlantic on the road, and LIU will visit Miami (FL) on Wednesday.
