The Congress is preparing to take power in Telangana, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of martyrs and four crore people. The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president, A. Revanth Reddy, paid tribute to Srikanth Chary, who set himself ablaze on December 3, 2009, demanding statehood for Telangana. Reddy predicted the party would come to power to fulfill the martyrs' aspirations.
