Knife attack near Eiffel Tower leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

International media reported on the tragic incident in Paris where three individuals, including a tourist, were injured by knife attacks carried out by an unidentified assailant.

On Sunday, CNN reported that this incident occurred in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower in the city of Paris, the capital of France.

In the CNN report, it is mentioned that this incident occurred precisely when an unidentified individual initially targeted a 24-year-old German tourist with a knife and then injured two others with a hammer.

This attack occurred around midnight on the Bir-Hakeim Bridge in the 15th district of Paris. As a result, a German tourist was fatally stabbed, and two other individuals were wounded due to hammer strikes.

The French news agency, citing an informed police source, described the attack as involving both a knife and a hammer. According to the report, the assailant is a French-born individual with French nationality, and he also had a history of mental health issues.

The French police reported this attack when France was currently on high-security alert.
