Navy Day is celebrated on December 4 to boost outreach and increase awareness about the Navy amongst the general public. This year's celebration is held at the iconic Sindhudurg Fort in Maharashtra. The theme of the event is 'Jalamev Yasya, Balamev Tasya' (The one who controls the sea is all-powerful).
