Japanese electronic parts manufacturer TDK Corp will produce lithium-ion battery cells for Apple iPhones in India, according to a government official. The manufacturing facility will be established in the state of Haryana, creating approximately 1,000 new jobs. The cells will be supplied to Apple's lithium-ion battery assembler, Sunwoda Electronics
