Katipally Venkata Ramana Reddy, a BJP candidate, emerged victorious in the Kamareddy assembly constituency of Telangana, defeating incumbent chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and TPCC president A Revanth Reddy. Despite his lack of formal education, Ramana Reddy, a businessman-turned-politician, declared total assets worth Rs 49.7 crore.
